A nod to the hotel’s namesake, The Phoenician Spa celebrates the rise and rebirth of the Phoenix, with the design teams incorporating elements such as grass and branch-like pedestal light fixtures representative of a phoenix’s nest. An impressive improvement to the original onsite spa which was underground, the newly renovated spa & athletic center emphasizes its natural surroundings using skylights and large windows to bring in natural light. The center now features 24 treatment rooms, a nail salon, hydropool, sauna, steam room, VIP room and 1,500 square feet of retail. A desert-inspired palette was used throughout the spa to promote wellness and tranquility while mirroring the natural beauty in the spa’s surroundings.
